BIOGRAFIA DA AVRIL LAVIGNE
Avril Lavigne Whibley (Belleville, 27 de setembro de 1984), mais conhecida pelo seu nome de batismo Avril Lavigne, é uma cantora, compositora, designer de moda e atriz do Canadá. Seus três álbuns de estúdio, Let Go, Under My Skin e The Best Damn Thing, venderam juntos mais de 33 milhões de cópias mundialmente, sendo 625 mil dessas cópias vendidas no Brasil, segundo a ABPD.
Além de cantora, Avril é também atriz, tendo participado de alguns filmes em papéis pequenos, como Going the Distance, interpretando sua canção Losing Grip, e Fast Food Nation. Ela também apareceu em um episódio da série Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, em uma performance de Sk8er Boi com sua banda. Participou da dublagem do filme The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, e da animação americana Over the Hedge. A cantora declarou em entrevista que fará sua primeira atuação como personagem principal em um filme, mas não revelou muitos detalhes.
DISCOGRAFIA...
A cantora lançou três álbuns de estúdio, quatro EPs, duas compilações, quatorze videoclipes, dezoito singles e quatro álbuns de vídeo. Avril começou a trabalhar com Clif Magness e um grupo de compositores conhecidos atualmente como The Matrix, o contrato foi fechado em dezembro de 2001 e a partir daí, começaram os preparativos para seu primeiro álbum de estúdio. Seus álbuns Let Go, Under My Skin e seu último lançamento The Best Damn Thing no qual Avril descreveu esse álbum como "dançante, engraçado, jovem, agressivo, confidente e divertido". Com produção de Dr. Luke, Deryck Whibley, Butch Walker e da própria Avril Lavigne.[Travis Barker (Box Car Racer, Blink-182, +44, Transplants, Expensive Taste, The Aquabats) gravou algumas partes da bateria do álbum, mas a maioria foi gravada por Josh Freese. Seus DVDs de maiores vendas o My World de Avril Lavigne, filmado em Buffalo, no estado de Nova Iorque, em 2003, na última noite de sua turnê de cinco semanas na qual passou pela América do Norte. E seu último lançamento em DVD o The Best Damn Tour - Live in Toronto que foi gravado em Toronto, Canadá, em 7 de abril.

Fender Avril Lavigne Telecaster
Avril lançou no começo de fevereiro de 2008 sua linha de guitarras feitas pela Fender; o modelo é Telecaster, e tem como características peculiares um captador humbucker de bobina dupla, detalhes em cromo, uma chapa de junção de braço com o logo "Squier", e marcações na lateral do braço.
Avril lançou um mangá chamado Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes, do qual é protagonista e também a responsável pelo roteiro. O mangá foi lançado apenas no Brasil e nos Estados Unidos ao mesmo tempo.
Black Star é um perfume lançado pela canadense Avril Lavigne. Foi criado sob licença da Procter & Gamble Prestige, e é composto de rosa hibisco, ameixa preta e chocolate escuro. Este perfume está disponível em 15, 30, 50 e 100ml. Ele foi lançado em 2009 na cidade de Londres. na Europa e, depois, Estados Unidos e Canadá. Além desse perfume Avril ainda inclui sua marca em sabonete, sabonete líquido, hidratante, creme pós-barba e óleo de banho. Avril também ofereceu a imprensa uma visualização do seu vestuário linha, Abbey Dawn, atualmente disponível nos EUA e Japão e em expansão para a Europa.
Abbey Dawn é uma linha de roupas criadas por Avril Lavigne e produzidas pela loja Kohl's. Foi lançada nos Estados Unidos em Alhambra, em julho de 2008. A linha, misturando caveira e listras, é similar às roupas que roupas que Avril usou na fase do CD The Best Damn Thing. Avril vestiu algumas roupas de sua linha em vários shows. Também foram usadas em um jogo de internet chamado Stardoll, onde as pessoas podem trocar as roupas dos personagens.
CARREIRA CINEMATOGRÁFICA
Avril fez uma dublagem na animação americana Over the Hedge. Ela trabalhou ao lado de William Shatner, Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Wanda Sykes, Nick Nolte e Steve Carell. Ela também contracenou com Richard Gere no filme The Flock, como a namorada de um criminoso suspeito. Também atuou no filme Fast Food Nation, que é baseado no livro favorito dela.
Avril escreveu e gravou uma música tema, Keep Holding On, com Dr. Luke, para a trilha sonora do filme Eragon, ela foi incluída em seu 3º álbum, The Best Damn Thing. A música foi lançada digitalmente para download no dia 28 de novembro, e mundialmente chegando nas rádios em 2006 e 2007. Ela também gravou a música tema para o filme The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
Avril fez uma participação no filme Going the Distance, fazendo ela mesma em uma performance de "Losing Grip" e também apareceu em um episódio do Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, com performance de "Sk8er Boi" com sua banda.

APRESENTAÇÕES NO BRASIL
A cantora fez quatro apresentações no Brasil em sua única passagem que ocorreu em setembro de 2005 dia 21 em Porto Alegre, dia 23 em Curitiba, dia 24 no Rio de janeiro e dia 25 em São Paulo. Os ingressos que custaram entre 60 e 140 reais. A abertura dos shows foi feita pela banda Leela, exceto em Porto Alegre, onde a banda Drive realizou a abertura. O show que Avril fez em São Paulo no dia 25 de setembro no estádio do Pacaembu teve a presença de mais 45 mil pessoas, sendo a maioria menor de dezoito anos, e o show, o maior da carreira de Lavigne. Mas Avril disse em uma entrevista que irá voltar ao Brasil para mais shows.[]
